A pleasant environment and well-presented food. The hill up climb is a little on the steep side but not too long. Ordering is via a QR code (very much the way of the world, sadly). I had the 11% Stout (a half pint) which was highly drinkable. The curry was also nice, but the sauce contained two bits of fat and no meat at all. The setting is what people come for as much as the beer.

I was really surprised to find such good pizza in Japan. I was born and raised in Italy, so I know very well what real Neapolitan pizza tastes like. Everything was delicious, including the dessert. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. I highly recommend this place!!!
The food is AMAZING and unbelievably delicious. It’s worth the short uphill walk from town. The staff is friendly, the ambiance top-notch, and the music is phenomenal. The beers are also delicious!!!
Great little brewery albeit a bit of a steep climb (less than 10 minutes) from the main station in town. Nice selection of beers, my best was the German style pilsner in the tin. Fantastic waygu pizza!
Great ambience, service, food and drinks. We walked in at 4.45pm without reservation but it got busy past 5pm. We enjoyed edamame and wood fired pizzas. The craft beer & matcha mojito highly recommended too!
Very nice food and ambiance. Nice beers and good other options. The gyoza is spectacular and the Aburi Toro Onion Salsa awesome! Loved the Shiitake Shrooms and finished with a very good UJI MATCHA Tiramisu. Thanks Peter
Great atmosphere and wonderfully warm, welcoming staff. We had an amazing lunch—our compliments to the chef and the whole team. The wagyu pizza was definitely a must-try! A fantastic experience all around.
I decided on making a reservation to Gora Brewery Public house after seeing the Risotto on the menu, which my wife loves. In putting in the reservation, they ask if there is any special occasion for our visit, which I put that it was our 9th year anniversary together, not expecting anything at all. Not only did the food and drink absolutely surpass my expectations, the service almost brought me to tears. After asking if it was possible to get dessert to go (and being told that was not possible by the staff) we were surprised with the cheesecake with a celebratory message on it. Between the fantastic Matcha Mojito, the melt in your mouth A4 Wagyu, and aforementioned delightful Risotto, the thing that actually stood out the most was the kindness, thoughtfulness and impeccable character of the staff at this location. Thank you for making our first time in Japan truly memorable.
